  • Hi Carl,

I came across your Blog and found your writing and reflections insightful. I also appreciate you crediting us for our painting titled Bonfires. I was wondering if we could post that on our Blog as well, with your name and Blog? I would also invite you to join us on Creative Soup…it’s a community of visual and literary artists along with musicians and people interested in the connection between art and faith. Here is the link: http://creativesoup.ning.com/main

Best to you as you explore the mystery of your art and faith.

  • Hi Carl,

I’ve been reading your blog for some time now, and I love your work! I appreciate your gift for combining superb writing skills, relevant topics, and unique perspectives.

I’m starting a new blog series on my site, http://sgraymackenzie.com, about independent bloggers who are unobtrusively adding value to the online community. I’d like to profile you in the near future if you are interested.

Thanks for your time and keep up the good work!

  • I didn’t realize you were at Texas Tech! That is where I got my MA in history…and I am currently living in Amarillo, TX just an hour and a half away…I bookmarked your blog and look forward to reading more, including the Thrice open letter. Glad to know there are other Thrice fanatics in the area!

That’s crazy! Yeah, I only have one more semester down here, but if you find yourself in the area feel free to get in touch! It’s a small world after all.

  • I will more than likely be in the area at least once during this coming semester…I will let you know, man!
